SpyXFamily

I haven’t talked about SpyXFamily since I talked about Code White and I wanted to provide an all important update.

Some figures and jigsaws are still in storage in the US, but closer to being back with me than before, but I do have all these delightful books now. Though, I still need to grab number 15 now that it’s out.

It’s so much of a comforting series for me. I’m sure, eventually, I’m going to end up bawling my eyes out at whatever ending is in store for the Forger family but going with them through saving(?) the nation and through Eden Academy life has been an absolute pleasure so far.

Of course, I adore Anya but seeing all the character development of all the other children as well as so many of the adults is a real joy. It certainly has its drama and it’s hilarious moments too but it feels so wholesome and comforting.

And yes, it goes without saying, that I’ve already binged my way through season three of the animated version. Spoiler: Seeing the backstory for Loid on the screen really melted my heart a little bit because it makes him seem a little less calculated and also explains the odd chink in his spy armour.

But after I’ve bought number 15 then I’m just going to be twiddling my thumbs, sighing, impatiently waiting for the next instalment or adapation to come out. Can we have another side mission movie already? Maybe I’ll do the colouring book but is that sacrilege to actually use it?
