Eating And Storage Tips
The original recipe that has gone viral suggests 250g of natural yoghurt but adding extra makes it more creamy instead of more jelly like. To me the only thing the original recipe added was protein rather than making it anything more than a jelly dessert still.
In it’s current form, as you may be able to see in the photo as well, there ends up being a thin layer of pure jelly set on top of the rest of the dish. With the extra yoghurt this is removed.
This would be great either as a midday pick me up treat, in place of a dessert or, if like me you’re always in a morning rush, for a low calorie breakfast.
You could almost certainly mix some fruit through the mixture before placing it into the fridge to set as well but this will depend on the fruit. If you are doing it with something like raspberries be sure to gently mix them in so they don’t get all smushed up!
