Delightfully Creamy Chicken Tagliatelle

Ingredients

  • Chicken Breast, Chopped
  • Black Pepper, Salt, Mixed Herbs, Onion Granules, Garlic Granules, Red Chilli Flakes
  • Broccoli Florets
  • Cherry Tomatoes, Halved
  • Feta, Half A Block
  • Tagliatelle (Or Pasta Of Your Choice)

Method

  1. Chop up a chicken breast and place it into an oven friendly dish. I don’t have a good medium sized dish but if you do put it in there so you can put other things in there all together
  2. Add some black pepper, salt, mixed herbs, onion granules and garlic granules to the chicken and give it a good mix before placing into a pre-heated oven at 180c
  3. Slice up some broccoli and put onto a baking tray with some red chilli flakes
  4. Half some cherry tomatoes and add that to the broccoli and put some feta in with the chicken and continue cooking
  5. Meanwhile cook some tagliatelle
  6. When everything in the oven is cooked mix it all up together. If you dish is big enough mix the pasta through it too

Eating And Storage Tips

I absolutely love this recipe and I find it goes super well when put into the fridge and reheated. I topped my pasta with my chicken mixture as I wanted to only do enough pasta for one day so I could heat the leftovers up the following day without the pasta absorbing up all the liquid or going dry in the microwave.

You absolutely could do a different past and mix it through the chicken dish and even then top it with some more cheese and throw it back into the oven for a while for something like a pasta bake. Doing this would help balance out the moisture content and also make it a little more multiple servings on different days friendly!

There’s broccoli and cherry tomatoes in here but you could easily add extra veggies in such as green beans or even spinach even mixed through right at the very end. You could reduce the portion sizes, I had a lot because I hardly ate all day and that’s not very healthy, and have some salad on the side instead. Want to reduce or completely remove the pasta? You could go for some garlic bread.

This is pretty high in calories but you could do a far smaller portion to bring it in line. I ate more because I had a small brunch and was pretty hungry by the evening. – Chop up a chicken breast and place it into an oven friendly dish.
