Ingredients

• Pork Loin Steak, Sliced
• Broccoli Florets And Some Stalk, Sliced
• Peppers, Sliced
• Carrots, Sliced
• Sweet And Sour Sauce Mix

Method

1. Put the sliced pork into a medium high heat pan and start to cook
2. Add in sliced broccoli, pepper and carrots when the pork is about half way cooked and continue cooking
3. Just as it reaches cooked add in the sweet and sour sauce mix and coat everything well
4. After a couple of minutes, making sure the sauce is nicely heated up, serve it up

Eating And Storage Tips

I opted out of doing carbs with this and instead loaded it up with extra pork and vegetables. I did this based on the amount of sugar in the premade sauce and I didn’t want to add extra carbs and energy heavy items to this dinner.

You could add a lot of alternative vegetables into a dish like this but I opted for these three as they allow for a nice variety of colours that really makes the whole dish look even more appealing and inviting. Things like mushrooms, water chestnuts and thinly sliced cabbage works incredibly well as well.

You can very easily make some of your own sauce up or do a completely different sweet and sour vibe with a little lemon juice mixed through some sweet chilli sauce with a little bit of pineapple or something too. I intend to work on my own sauce blends for dishes like this going forward but we’ll see when that ends up happening (let’s be honest it will be 2026 for sure).
