Ingredients (For One)
- Pork Loin Steak, Sliced
- Sesame Oil
- Mushrooms, Sliced
- Red Pepper, Sliced
- Ginger, Sliced Or Grated
- Spring Onions, Chopped
- Egg Noodles (With Seasoning)
- Soy Sauce
Method
- Preheat a pan with sesame oil in it before adding the pork to start cooking on a high heat
- Add in the mushrooms and red pepper, giving everything a good stir
- Meanwhile cook some egg noodles in a small amount of water with the seasoning packet and soy sauce in there too. Do a small enough amount of water to cook them but to not need to drain it
- Add in some fresh ginger and spring onion to the pork mixture pan
- After checking the pork is cooked serve the noodles in a bowl and top with the pork mixture. Alternatively mix it all together and serve that way (chop the pork smaller if this is your serving choice)
Eating And Storage Tips
This is another one of those meals that I would not lean towards having cold or reheated but you can very easily do more of the pork mixture and put that into a Tupperware in the fridge and add it to something else like rice or freshly done noodles another day.
If you want to add more spice or flavours to this you can add fresh chilli, a bundle of garlic and perhaps even things like lemongrass but I feel if you’re going to add in a bundle of extras you probably should do your own seasoning blend rather than just one from a packet in general. Perhaps adding bits is a middle stage level up.
