Overnight Oats

Ingredients:

  • Oats
  • Milk
  • Honey
  • Blueberries

Method:

  1. Place the oats into a container
  2. Add milk
  3. Add honey
  4. Add blueberries
  5. Mix together
  6. Place lid on container
  7. Put in fridge overnight

Eating And Storage Tips

I add blueberries but you can add whatever fruit you want here. I find berries generally work best but something like banana is good too. Generally I would say steer clear of stone fruits unless you’ve blended it down or made it into a compote.

I also opt for milk but you could go for a yoghurt as well. Just be careful here though as a yoghurt that is too thick could leave the oats on the crunchier side.

Making these in the evening, when your dinner is cooking away and your already in the kitchen, makes for a fantastic way to minimise time spent in the morning but gives you something to keep you full and avoiding a mid-morning snack. You can make a couple of days worth up at a time to minimise time and effort even more!
