I got this coffee around Christmas time in a local garden centre. Produced by Beanies, a company that offers so many different flavours of coffee, this gingerbread coffee came in a 50g jar (apparently 25 servings).

At the minute this is out of stock but a part of me is hoping they bring it back towards the end of the year again as I really enjoyed this coffee… with one caveat.
That caveat is I needed to add a liberal splash of milk to this to give it a well balanced flavour as by itself it tasted a little burnt sort of like a cookie left in the oven a couple of minutes too long.
Normally this is a deal breaker for me as I believe good coffee doesn’t need anything added to it but this isn’t regular coffee but flavoured coffee and sometimes it needs a little more tweaking than just what is provided.
I will give it to them that they keep this low calorie, sugar-free as well as nut and wheat free. In itself it is also completely vegan. I have certainly encountered flavoured products like this previously have had a lot of sugar added in and I like that they have made it as accessible as possible.
I did not do this but part of me wishes I had added some into a hot chocolate, a bit like a mocha, with a bit of mixed spice mixed in for good measure. If it does come back again next year and I get my hands on it perhaps I will give it a go.
I also have a Christmas Pudding flavoured one which I am looking forward to opening and giving a try. But let me know have you ever tried Beanies coffee and if so do you have a favourite?
