Millennium Dark Chocolate Peppermint

You can’t even buy two Freddos for 35p so finding these 35g chocolate bars in B&M for that price had me intrigued to if they could even mildly have any quality to them.

I was actually surprised and delighted as they exceeded my expectations. The dark chocolate helps to stop it from being too sweet and the mint comes through well without being too bitter or sweet in itself.

Looking the brand up they seem to be Ukrainian and do a variety of other products including another of these bars as Nut Praline (which I have tried since and would also recommend if you like a very mildly nutty chocolate).

For me chocolate is also the sort of thing where if I crave chocolate then a single square of really nice high quality chocolate probably won’t hit the spot but this is good enough that one of these bars covers all the craving boxes and given the price compared to a lot of branded bars these days it removes a little bit of that guilt too.

I’d highly recommend for the smooth dark chocolate, minty hit and price point combined. They might be something I grab a bundle of the next time I happen to be a B&M store so I have some in the cupboard on backup.
