

Ingredients (For One)
- Salmon fillet
- Two medium garlic cloves (finely chopped)
- 1cm cube of fresh ginger
- Light soy sauce (2tbsp)
- Dark soy sauce (2tbsp)
Method
- Heat a frying pan to high and add the garlic and ginger
- Add the salmon in skin side down and allow to crisp up. Meanwhile use a pastry brush to put the soy sauce on the flesh side slowly to keep it soaking in
- When the skin is crisped up enough flip it over and add any remaining soy sauce around it in the pan (make sure to not put it on the crispy skin)
Eating And Storage Tips
If you have time you can marinate this up in advance with the ginger, garlic and soy sauces. You could also add some fresh chilli in as well.
This could be served with rice, noodles or new potatoes and a whole selection of vegetables to make it any sort of combination you want.
As supermarket pre packaged salmon usually comes in packs of two I cook both of them up and put the rest in the fridge to break up and put through with some pasta the following day.
