I went into Endwalker, as my first expansion release, wildly unprepared so this time around I’m spending time preparing as best I can with both things I know and ‘just in cases’. If this helps one other fellow gamer be a little more ready and a little less stressed when expansion hits then HOORAY.

• If you only tend to use your Wonderous Tails book from Idyllshire to get half a level of experience a week then there’s a chance you’ve forgotten about them existing since levelling up last time around. But make sure to get one before the Tuesday reset ahead of early access. Once you collect a book you have two weeks to turn it in so you can work through it, turn it in and then immediately grab another one and repeat to get a whole level on a job. Turn it in on a secondary job as you will get enough experience from doing the MSQ on your main job already, especially if you have the pre-order earring.
• Make sure to grab your hunt marks, including daily ones, the day before you get access. This will allow you to get experience from them and collect “fresh” ones on that day. And if you don’t get around to it then at least you have them on backup!
• Stock up on some incomplete Endwalker sidequests (I’d say 15-20) and complete them but hold off turning them in until you get Dawntrail access. Make sure to leave enough room for your daily tribal quests and collect these on the day before maintenance too as again they don’t “expire” so you can double, or even triple, up on them by turning them in after maintenance. How to triple up: Collect them before maintenance, turn them in before daily reset, do ‘yesterdays’ and then when reset hits you can do them all over again.
• Make sure you have some sort of food on you for an additional experience boost; Even just the most basic of the good olde boiled eggs! If your not in an FC or the buffs they use wont be a food extension one try stock up on food lengthening manuals (these are currently also available from the Fall Guys event if you happen to be grinding that for the title and want to know what to spend all that extra currency on).
• If you aren’t in a rush to actually do MSQ and want to focus on levelling an alt job (or your main job to feel ‘comfier’ doing the MSQ) and happen to be online before the reset of the day you get access then be sure to queue for a few of your daily roulettes as they will once again give you experience and give you the choice to do it for experience twice in one day.
